Adding to the already successful Vancouver Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Week, the Vancouver Dyke March and Festival Society (VDM) has added an East Side March and Festival to the line-up.

The march begins just after 12:00pm at McSpadden Park and continues down Commercial Drive for a family friendly music Festival.

In 2012 the Festival returns to Grandview Park!

The Vancouver Dyke March and Festival is going green!

We are working with the city in their Zero Waste Project in making special events more sustainable.

We will have The Zero Waste station which consists of the following:

  • 1 Food Scraps Bin
  • 1 Mixed Paper Bin
  • 1 Refundable Container Bin
  • 1 Garbage Bin

On top of that, the trailer also comes with 2 portable water fountains and 2 bike racks, so please ride your bikes to the festival and bring a reusable water bottle.

Let's all work together for a greener city!
