Vancouver Dyke March 2021

Hello, diverse dykes, trans and nonbinary folks, and all the lovely queers who call these unceded Coast Salish territories home.

We are happy to announce that we will be holding an in-person march this year! Come join us to march the streets and celebrate each other! Let’s fill the drive with copious amounts of queer magic, trans empowerment, non-binary respect and lots of dyke-y love!

2021 Event Details

We’ll begin in McSpadden Park at 11 AM with some pre-March festivities and a community art project to create the new Vancouver Dyke March banner for this year. Then, the March will leave McSpadden Park at 12 PM (noon) and we’ll make our way down Commercial Drive to end at Grandview Park.

On July 31, 2021, at 12 PM (noon) the March will leave McSpadden Park and we will make our (socially distanced!) way down Commercial Drive to end at Grandview Park. Come to McSpadden Park as early as 11 AM for pre-march festivities.

We understand that some members of our communities may not feel ready or safe taking to the streets yet, and that’s okay. We’ve planned some nice, chill, low sensory, socially distanced art activities too, check out our Dykes Taking Space page for more information.

We would like to acknowledge that this event is held on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
